1. You're right: I do clean the four toilets in our house, and I do most
of the cooking, too. According to my wife, I'm a pretty good cook.

2. I also vacuum the hardwood and tile floors, and wax the hardwood
floors when they need it.

3. If there is any heavy lifting to be done around here, I do it, inside
or outside.

Isn't that nice? If your wife had a competent, thoughtful husband, you'd
be doing some of that for her.

As for my F150 Yamaha outboard, it is entirely correct I do no serious
maintenance on the engine. I keep it clean, inside and out, and I change
the oil and filters mid-season, and grease what needs to be greased. The
dealer repeats these tasks and performs others when the engine is
winterized.

It's an expensive, complicated outboard, and to do any serious
maintenance on it requires special training, a computer and program that
"reads" what is going on in the engine, *and* specialized tools. I don't
have that training, the computer/program or the specialized tools.

Further, I have a five year warranty on the engine. If anything goes
wrong, the dealer will fix it, and gladly.

This is what happens when you have a good outboard motor, a warranty,
and a dealership that stands behind its sales.

Of course, neither you nor loogy have a boat rig that is worth anything,
if you have a rig at all.

One more time, ****-for-brains: I do not post anything here that
requires the slightest effort from me, not because I can't but because
you and the rest of the right-wing retards here aren't worth the time.

The funny thing is, you post boating stuff from time to time that
obviously required a bit of effort on your part, but...it is almost
entirely devoid of significant content. What have *I* learned from your
boating posts? Easy. Don't do what you do. Ever. You're the floating

Admirable in concept, impractical in execution.

And frankly, a little bit of "nannyism".

OnStar may be the only profitable part of GM right now.
I doubt you will get much traction stopping that.

BTW they have figured out holding the phone is not the distracting
part, it is actually the conversation that takes your mind off the
road.
Mythbusters came up with the same result in their semi scientific
tests.

If holding the phome was the problem, then the population with be much less
from all the accidents caused by holding a cigarette, a cup of coffee, a
donut. Most of the cops would be eliminated from just coffee and donuts.
Bagels of you are a 90's cop.

I used to change the oil and spark plugs on my car once a week. Cut
open the oil filters to see what was in side.

What kind of car was this? Was it used raced and run at High RPM or
was this car used for your daily commute?

There is a world of difference between running a car/boat at racing
RPM's and someone who runs his car at 2400 rpm and his boat at 3400.
Changing a sprint car weekly is prudent, changing your family car or
boat weekly is obsessive.

A bit obsessive, eh? :)

I've put 31 engine hours on my Parker so far this season. I'll be
changing the engine oil and filter at 50 hours or so.

Please note that Interstate 90 will be closed this weekend across
South Dakota. This closure will allow the Federal Government free
access to haul a 200 ton piece of coal to Mt. Rushmore so that
President Obama can be added to the Presidents on the monument.
