That's cool! Are you getting any serious business yet?

Not really. It's still not officially open. Still setting up, acquiring
inventory, establishing accounts, and waiting for new store and street signs
to be installed. Haven't done any advertising yet.

But quite a few people have wandered in while I've been up here working for
the past 2 or 3 weeks.
It's not big, but people seem to like the atmosphere. It's geared more
towards an older, more mature market and not 14-15 year old rock star
wannabies. One guy gave me a Hammond organ in exchange for repairing his
guitar amp.

Dick, how old are the SL3 speakers (which now have a price attached)?

John, the SL3s are just about 8 or 9 years old. They spent about 6 years
in the boxes they came in because I didn't have the proper room to put them
in.

These speakers sound beautiful but they are very sensitive to how you set
them up. They almost need a dedicated listening room for the full benefit
of what they can sound like. Set up properly though, they sound live,
particularly for classical and acoustic music.

The SL3s were one of the most popular in the high end Martin line. There
were several models much more expensive (and bigger), but the SL3 was highly
regarded by audiophiles.
