The picture of wood buttons remind me of the family's 1962 Ford
Country Squire.

It was a pleasure to walk you down memory lane.

I don't know who set up your new and improved web page, but it looks
nice. I am glad you took my advice and fired your old webmaster.

That's cool! Are you getting any serious business yet?
---------------------------------------------------------------------

Not really. It's still not officially open. Still setting up,
acquiring inventory, establishing accounts, and waiting for new store
and street signs to be installed. Haven't done any advertising yet.

But quite a few people have wandered in while I've been up here working
for the past 2 or 3 weeks.
It's not big, but people seem to like the atmosphere. It's geared more
towards an older, more mature market and not 14-15 year old rock star
wannabies. One guy gave me a Hammond organ in exchange for repairing
his guitar amp.

Eisboch,
This reminds me of a chain that resells used Sports Equipment. They do
a great business, and I wish you lots of success in your new venture.

Dick, how old are the SL3 speakers (which now have a price attached)?

No. Just out-of-state hagglers.

John, the SL3s are just about 8 or 9 years old. They spent about 6 years
in the boxes they came in because I didn't have the proper room to put them
in.

These speakers sound beautiful but they are very sensitive to how you set
them up. They almost need a dedicated listening room for the full benefit
of what they can sound like. Set up properly though, they sound live,
particularly for classical and acoustic music.

The SL3s were one of the most popular in the high end Martin line. There
were several models much more expensive (and bigger), but the SL3 was highly
regarded by audiophiles.

How about old plays and sheet music, maybe a collection of leather
bound classics? Of course I still have that Lowrey Director and a
entry level piano, Janssen 88 key in good shape I am trying to get rid
of
=========================

Leather bound classics are often interesting.

One of the many highlights of that film, and there were many of them.
Remember the scene with Aretha in the restaurant? Classic.

Yeah that was a good one.
My two sons & I used to laugh over & over at the scene where the nun took a
pointer to the guys. Sure reminded me of school...although in my school
(primary to grade 9 ) boys & girls were separated...they had the Sisters of
Charity...we had the Catholic lay teachers.
The big concert scene was great too.

"Classic" what? Classic Aretha? I guess so, seeing how it was her.
