Harry had it right. More of a hobby. Or a fancy yard sale. But, it keeps me off the streets. Boat is under agreement again. New oil pans are being installed. Buyer is from Canada. One of the conditions of sale is full fuel tanks when he takes ownership. Still thinking about what's next for a boat. I still have interest, but things have changed and most of my boating will be by myself. Should have kept the GB. Eisboch |

Unless you don't want customers that try plugging each guitar into every amp and touching every instrument in the place with no intention (or the cash) to buy anything. I said sure and hooked him up to some studio monitors. He spent an hour playing background music from video games using all the "synth" voices. After a while all I could mentally envision was Super Mario climbing walls and jumping off cliffs. Started to drive me nuts. The kid could play well, but an hour's worth of video game music isn't my cup of tea. So, I finally got up, started shutting off the lights, took the "open" flag in and told him, "Sorry, gotta close up shop." He left saying he'd be back again. I left, drove down to a coffee shop, got a coffee to go and went back to the music shop. Eisboch |
