A while back ... year or so ago ... when we could discuss things more rationally, you identified me as a "moderate" conservative with whom you didn't have a major problem with in terms of political viewpoints. But now, according to you and your puppy, I am a bible thumping, far right, knuckle dragging Neanderthal, a relic from the dark ages. What happened? I haven't changed a bit. Eisboch Your party has. I didn't say you were a bible-thumping, far-right, whatever. But that is what is controlling your party. What I am snickering at now are you attempts to move away from what your party has become by describing yourself as a "moderate" conservative. According to your party, you a a RINO, something they want to be rid of... It's not you...it's your party. Repeating my comment in another post, it's not "my" party. I am not a Republican. I am not a Democrat. I think for myself. My viewpoints may not always be correct or well thought out, but I don't automatically subscribe to any political party's agenda. I am of a conservative bent and believe in many of the Republican philosophies but often also embrace Democratic and yes, even some "liberal" ideas. You purebred liberals are having a field day right now because you have conveniently lumped all Republicans into one category. Yes, it's fun, but it's not truthful. That has been the point I've tried to make several times. There are more liberals making noise about Rush than most of us with more conservative viewpoints. I understand the purpose. It's just not honest. Eisboch You are either "with him or against him". According to Harry, the world is black and white, there is no gray -- Reginald P. Smithers III, Esq.
