You mean the ones who only *listen* to Rush, Sean, O'Reilly & Beck and nod their heads in approval, instead of rushing out to kill doctors, blow up clinics, and make idiotic comments about judge nominees? Give me a break. In other words, unless I subscribe to the liberal thinking of you and jps, I am automatically "one of them". Talk about shallow, narrow minds. I know that both of you are smarter than that. Both of you should throw away your talking point notes and start speaking for yourselves, using your own brains. Eisboch "Moderate" conservative. snerk Like I suggested , .... oh, never mind. Your too programmed. Eisboch Ok, ok. "You're" BTW .... You crack me up. A while back ... year or so ago ... when we could discuss things more rationally, you identified me as a "moderate" conservative with whom you didn't have a major problem with in terms of political viewpoints. But now, according to you and your puppy, I am a bible thumping, far right, knuckle dragging Neanderthal, a relic from the dark ages. What happened? I haven't changed a bit. Eisboch |

I didn't say you were a bible-thumping, far-right, whatever. But that is what is controlling your party. What I am snickering at now are you attempts to move away from what your party has become by describing yourself as a "moderate" conservative. According to your party, you a a RINO, something they want to be rid of... It's not you...it's your party. You might be happier with the Libertarians, although they seem to be going through another crazy period. Ain't politics fun? My mother, a lifelong Republican from Boston, would have never tolerated what her grand old GOP has become. She was a very minor political functionary in our home county, and would have raised holy hell at local meetings if that GOP had descended into today's GOP. |

I am not a Democrat. I think for myself. My viewpoints may not always be correct or well thought out, but I don't automatically subscribe to any political party's agenda. I am of a conservative bent and believe in many of the Republican philosophies but often also embrace Democratic and yes, even some "liberal" ideas. You purebred liberals are having a field day right now because you have conveniently lumped all Republicans into one category. Yes, it's fun, but it's not truthful. That has been the point I've tried to make several times. There are more liberals making noise about Rush than most of us with more conservative viewpoints. I understand the purpose. It's just not honest. Eisboch |
