Default Hard to get parts

OK, my mechanics plea that it was taking him forever to get a carb jet
for my 90 hp Yamaha motor was legit after all. I did manage to get it
in 4 days but I really had to do some talking to get it. When I
finally did get it, my source told me he'd never bee able to do that
again in a hundred years. The mechanic was astonished when I showed
up with it.
So, the part is a tiny brass piece with two small flanges on it and a
series of holes drilled into it. The old one was really nasty looking
corroded and green and the mechanic said this was due to water in fuel
from using gas with ethanol in it. JEEZ.
With this happening to me, I wonder if there is a market for making
such parts on the cnc mill which is underused. Most people will not
be so crazed about getting the part and will just wait for a long time
if somebody does not make them aftermarket.
