My family owns a farm in Rye, NH, just a mile in from Rye Beach, NH. Dan
Brown of The Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons fame lives in Rye
Beach, NH. My mother and sister stalked him and found out where he lived.

Back in 2005 while up there for a week we went on a wail watching tour
of Gloucester, MA. We went across the bay towards Providence. We saw
mama whales withe their babies and all. There must have been 40 or more
whales in all on that trip. Biggest problem was that the batteries in
the camera crapped out after the first whales were sighted. My sister
and her husband went on the same boat two weeks later and only saw 4
whales.

We never make it past the the silver shop across from the salt water
taffy shop in York, ME. All of the women get up from the table at
restaurant at the taffy store before the bill comes and head over to the
silver shop and leave the me with the bill.

Well, they *are* fairly smart, you know. Thanks for the whale watching
tip. I'll add that to my collection of tips for the trip.

Wait a minute. Is Gloucester in MA or ME? We're going to ME. But maybe
we'll have to stop in MA. I'd hate to do that if MA was just a typo.

If you are going to ME, the easiest way to get to ME from VA is through
MA. G. MA is about 30 min north of B.town, so it really is on the way
to ME. If you know what I mean. ;)

Between you and Eisboch, that issue is well clarified.

Thanks to both.

Yeah - if you go Rt. 1.

Which, some to think of it, might be a good way to go - you can see
all the sights and touristy stuff. I could meet them up in Marblehead
- show 'em all the good stuff.

Wait a minute. If you're showing us all the stuff in Mystic and
surrounding islands, how would you meet us in Marblehead. Isn't
Marblehead in MA? Or, are you planning on riding in the back seat of
the 4Runner with the dog?

Not likely.

If you decided to head up that way, it wouldn't be a problem to just
meet you there.

It's going to take more than a day to even get finished with Mystic.
