Anybody here own one of these?

I have a potential buyer for my Ranger who seems really hot to trot -
we're just negotiating on some minor issues.

I've been looking around and these seem to have some appeal to me for
some reason.

Anybody have any experience with them?

Never owned one but there are forums just for those boats iirc. I can
see it pounding pretty hard and I wouldn't think it could handle half
of what the Ranger can???

Nice looking in my opinion, but not nearly as versatile in open water
and would just look funny on the small lakes you frequent too..

I agree. At 27' I would be looking for a bit of a "V" in the front.
225 HP on a rig like that would be interesting in even a light chop.
