I DO have an old Emerson "Home entertainment center." with a color 20" at dad's that DOES still work well. the pots on the BSR turntable are a bit scratchy, but it still plays 45's, 33's and 78's pretty good. It's not one of the belt drives. it has a rubber roller that runs on the inside of the platter. I did ahve to clean out some mud dobber nests and lube it with some light oil, but it took off jsut fine. I haven't investigated the 8-track player yet. |
