Charging the battery -- how long is okay?

Probably the case with the Grand Am, but the Corsica is bare bones and
loses the juice too fast.
Besides, it loses it much faster when it's been wet outside.
Maybe I'll put a meter on it and start pulling fuses when I get the
gumption.
