It about 70% aliphatic hydrocarbons - basically fatty oils with a
petroleum component (the solvent).

It's never been proved to be a "hazardous" material with the exception
of being an inhalation hazard - it can mess up your lungs something
fierce even at low concentrations.

As to claims - hey, I knew a guy who used to take a half-teaspoon of
Marvel Mystery Oil every morning and he lived to be 101. :)
