Krystal's can't hold a candle to White Castle's "sliders". The last time I was at a white castle, I thought the burgers were greasy. |

Krystal's can't hold a candle to White Castle's "sliders". Reminds me. Haven't had any for at least 4 months. There's a Castle on Oakton & Milwaukee. They used to be only in the city. Remember my first ones. 79 & Essex. 1959 I think. They put up the first McDonalds I saw about then, on 79th & Jeffrey. I tried a burger there, but it tasted like cardboard. Never went back to that one. Besides they wanted 15 cents, and a slider was 12 cents. Used to know every White Castle in Chicago. 79th Street had the most. I'm down to about 3-4 times a year now for sliders. 4 cheese, and 4 cheese with jalapenos, order of rings. Only half the man I used to be. But I don't fart as much. --Vic |

Krystal's can't hold a candle to White Castle's "sliders". We just came back from a trip to Virginia last week. Son in Law got in to the Krystals at the airport in Atlanta. Thinks they are great. Not as good as Sliders, and when he wondered if there was a Krystals at Lynchburg, daughter said she would prefer a Waffle House. He is from Pittsburgh, PA area and had never experienced Bojangels or Waffle House. New experiences are good. |

Was $40 cheaper than flying out of ROA, and since there were 5 tickets bought, was worth an hour drive from Roanoke. |
