Heh - I just came back from SC - I got some stuff that...well, let's
just say it's in the artillery class. *:)
Well, dropping those babies overboard must be one way to get a tuna!

Redneck striper fishing - 1/4 stick of dynamite and a fast pontoon
boat. :)

Remember the thread Harry, this is about "coming clean". Have anything
you'd like to come clean about? Perhaps your dad's fireboat welcome?
Or your Yale degree? Or your rounding the horn, twice? It's a great
chance for you.

God bless HE, det cord, C4 and all those wonderful combinations of

mmmmm - 'splosions...

Chain saws are for sissies.

Det cord is the only way to remove small trees. For big ones, a shaped
charge and a little C-4 works wonders. :)

Remind me to tell you about the time I removed a tree stump, and about
two tons of rock and earth plus about six neighboring trees, by using
slightly too much AN and diesel - it's a funny story.

My county will arrest you if they catch you with sparklers.

Pansies. Sparklers?

Unbelievable. Hell, when I was a kid, we used to chuck 1/8 sticks of
dynamite around like fire crackers - nobody ever got hurt. Maybe we
were just smarter than the average kid now days. :)

In Lee County Florida you can still get 2" mortars as long as you sign
a document swearing you are scaring birds away.

It does wake up the pigeons

Picked up a few of those too.

And a monster 4 incher - this one might just be used out in the hay
field.

WHOO HOO!!

Had a friend who's dad was a pyrotechnics guy as a hobby! He'd make us
some cool stuff! Made me a small bomb once, and I chucked it in my
uncle's old cast steel concrete mixer! The end result was lots of
pieces of the barrel all over the place, and an ass kicking that I
received!

Ever see that episode of Mythbusters where they loaded up a cement
truck with 3 tons of HMX?

There was nothing, and I mean nothing, left of that truck. :)

Last week, they did a thing about making diamonds and went to the
University of New Mexico School of Mining Engineering - did something
similar with RDX - about 1500 lbs of the stuff in a tall tube.

The shock wave was simply amazing.

One of my favorite TV shows - 'splosions galore!!

Yes, I did! I've told my wife I'd move back to the S.F. bay area if I
could get a job with the Mythbusters!

Yep, explosions and lots of other ways to ruin perfectly good stuff!

If you can come up with potassium chlorate you can make some pretty
nasty stuff just using 40% sugar and a dash of potassium chromate.
It is probably hard to buy these days without getting a call from ATF
but it used to be available at Fischer Scientific if you could come up
with a plausible story.

Just tell them you like to blow up stuff and you know SW Tom.
