Speaking of beer, We opened the bottle of Samuel Adams Utopias Friday night. Unusual to say the least, but very, very good. Hard to describe it. It has a very faint taste of beer, but it's probably only because of the hops. It's almost as good to just to hold the glass under your nose and sniff it as it is to drink it. The aroma is fantastic. Only had about an oz. or so, but that was all you needed to enjoy it. Not sweet, not bitter and smooth as silk. I've had some good brandy and cognac in the past, but this was different. Looking forward to the next time. Eisboch |
