Laundering money through the government is not going to create wealth, create long term jobs and save your grand children from a life of 80 to 90 percent income taxes. No, but it may stave off this recession becoming a depression. Congress and Obama are working their hardest to make the recession last longer with this "stimulus" bill. Obama with his pessimistic, gloom and doom attitude isn't doing much to lead the country forward. He's got everyone scared, hoarding cash and staying home. All the wrong things. Congress sees this as an opportunity to fund pet projects to stimulate their re-election campaign contributions. Obama is dishing out reality. Obama is a poor leader. Since taking office he has inspired no one. In fact his mis-handling of his cabinet nominees has left most wondering if he is up to the task of being president. Sorry, bozo, but your opinions and those on your side of the fence are the minority opinion. The majority of Americans are pleased with Obama. Maybe you can sell that crap to the Rush crowd. Why is your side pushing so hard to squash free speech. What are you afraid of, the truth? is someone trying to shut you up? Yes. The Democrats. Really? Are Democrats coming to your door, ringing your bell, and asking you if you have found reality? Yes. Well, then, you should move out of montgomery county and out to where justhate lives...the two of you could sit on the porch and try to figure out how to play the banjo. 6 years and I will be moving out of Montgomery County and Maryland. The whole state is turning into a sewer. Well, Monty County is too crowded for me. Try South Carolina or Mississippi. Both look good, low taxes. And filled with bigots just like you. Republican paradise. Do you have any new material? You need to hire a better writing staff. |

You are the most racist person I have ever had the misfortune to encounter. You view everyone by how you can classify them. You really must live a miserable existence. |

I doubt you even know what a racist is, or what racism is. Here's a def from a simple dictionary: racism |ˈrāˌsizəm| noun the belief that all members of each race possess characteristics or abilities specific to that race, esp. so as to distinguish it as inferior or superior to another race or races. • prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on such a belief It's not me who makes negative comments here about, for example, blacks or Latinos. It's your goofy golfing buddy, Herring. JustHate is another of the right-wing idiots here who accuse me of "racism," and don't know what the word means. Perhaps the pair of you should have spent more time at school. |

If the rule of law means anything then it needs to be enforced. |

![]() Speaking of the subject header .... Happened to note that although President Obama stated several times that passage of the stimulus would enable Caterpillar to re-hire some of it's laid-off employees and repeating it again while visiting the Caterpillar plant while gesturing towards Owens, Caterpillar's president, Owens seemed to contradict Obama's statement shortly afterward. After Obama departed from the plant visit, Owens was asked if passage now meant he would re-hire some laid off employees. His answer was, "In all honesty, no." He indicated that there was a long ways to go and that in reality there will likely be more lay-offs before any re-hiring can begin. Failure to communicate? Something screwy here. Eisboch |
