No, but it may stave off this recession becoming a
depression.
Congress and Obama are working their hardest to make the
recession last longer with this "stimulus" bill. Obama
with his pessimistic, gloom and doom attitude isn't doing
much to lead the country forward. He's got everyone
scared, hoarding cash and staying home. All the wrong
things. Congress sees this as an opportunity to fund pet
projects to stimulate their re-election campaign
contributions.
Obama is dishing out reality.
Obama is a poor leader. Since taking office he has inspired
no one. In fact his mis-handling of his cabinet nominees
has left most wondering if he is up to the task of being
president.

Sorry, bozo, but your opinions and those on your side of the
fence are the minority opinion. The majority of Americans
are pleased with Obama. Maybe you can sell that crap to the
Rush crowd.
Why is your side pushing so hard to squash free speech. What
are you afraid of, the truth?

is someone trying to shut you up?
Yes. The Democrats.

Really? Are Democrats coming to your door, ringing your bell,
and asking you if you have found reality?
Yes.
Well, then, you should move out of montgomery county and out to
where justhate lives...the two of you could sit on the porch and
try to figure out how to play the banjo.
6 years and I will be moving out of Montgomery County and Maryland.
The whole state is turning into a sewer.
Once yu leave, maybe they can return it to it's previous condition.
Too many lefties in the state these days. It is a lost cause.

You say that as if it's a bad thing.

"As if?" The policies of the left are turning the state into a third
world country. I expect Krause to make his typical asinine comment about
racism. If the rule of law means anything then it needs to be enforced.

So move. No one will miss you. Surely you can find a decent job in
Mississippi or South Carolina, maybe wrapping miniburgers at crystals.

Yeah, before Obama went to Peoria, I heard that Caterpillar might rehire
if the stimulus was passed, and it didn't sound like the information was
coming from the Obama camp.

I found this:

http://news.medill.northwestern.edu/...115349&print=1

It seems to attribute the story to the Peoria Journal Star.
Unfortunately, the page is no longer at that link. Who knows?

Default Stimulus would let Caterpillar rehire workers: Obama

Happened to note that although President Obama stated several times that
passage of the stimulus would enable Caterpillar to re-hire some of it's
laid-off employees and repeating it again while visiting the Caterpillar
plant while gesturing towards Owens, Caterpillar's president, Owens
seemed to contradict Obama's statement shortly afterward.

After Obama departed from the plant visit, Owens was asked if passage
now meant he would re-hire some laid off employees. His answer was,
"In all honesty, no." He indicated that there was a long ways to go
and that in reality there will likely be more lay-offs before any
re-hiring can begin.

Failure to communicate? Something screwy here.

Obama grasping at straws to sell his power grab bill. This is the
perfect opportunity for companies to do wholesale restructuring and
reorganizing using the economic climate as an excuse.

Obama again latched onto a statement made by Caterpillar's CEO. Rather
than doing the due diligence he just jumped at the chance to get in
front of the American people to show the effects of the stimulus bill,
even though it hasn't become law yet, are working.

The stimulus bill is still one big pile of pork.

Yup, 1400 pages released last night and might be passed today! Another
campaign lie from Obama and his crew. Obama said there would be time
to review bills, he said also that there would be partisanship, the
Republicans were locked out of the room on this one, not allowed to
offer any admendments. Obama is already the most dishonest president
in history...

No need for new material for you. The old material still works and is

Maybe just pure BS.
I noted that BO said something like "this stimulus will allow Cat to
hire back some of the laid off workers."
What does "some" mean?
One? Two? Hundreds?
Any time a pol uses non-specific language, he is blowing hot air.

You think he should be able to predict precisely how many employees at a
company would be hired back?

Absurd.
