Ummmm doesn't a hanging chain form a catenary?....Without the anchor rode
wouldn't you loose your anchor? Unless its just for looks I suppose......

You kidding me, I didn't have a clue....I asked my other forums I am being
brought up on charges of off-topic posting. I tried to use it in a related
question.....

"If I had catenaries in my Jeep think people would leave my radio
alone?"........"Where would my anchor rode be in my Jeep?"

I got my answers..

Welcome aboard.

You'll fit right in. :)

My brother uses his PDA and a Blackberry with a PCMA (or whatever that
slot thingy is called) GPS receiver and Maptech software.

I've never been impressed with the GPS performance on the PDA and even
out in Narragansett Bay, the Blackberry can be problematic in GPS
mode. It's not a question of functionality - it works fine, but the
signal aquisition is position dependant - you're constantly fiddling
with placement to get the best fix.

Not my thing. As a backup, yeah maybe, but not as a main navigation
device.
