So, was that a sample survey of Sarah Palin supporters?

The thing that bothered me the most about Joe the Plumber is that he was
presented as the Average Joe. *Has anyone hired a plumber recently? *My
brother who lives in MD was hooking up a gas operated fireplace in his
basement. *Homeowners in his county are not allowed to do either their own
electric nor their gas or plumbing. *So to run a straight 20 foot black
iron pipe, connect it to a tee on one end (tee was alread there but capped
off) and connect it to the burner on the other, he charged $900. *It took
him tops about 15 minutes. *And he wasn't the highest bidder either. *While
other places in the country might not have such a captive audience,
plumbers aren't poor, I've seen some statistic a way back where they make
about what attorney's make. *I realize that many attorneys aren't
necessarily in the high income bracket but the potential is there more so
than your average McDonald's hamburger flipper. *Perhaps Joe the Flipper
would have been more apropos. *But then what do Republicans know about
minimum wage workers?

Joe the Plumber was a Republican plant.

He and his BS story was a sad attempt of the GOP to play to the blue
collar vote.

It failed miserably.

It also is an excellent example of how far out of touch the Republican
Party is.

Note how they tried to use Palin to garnder the feminine vote and now
have decided to have a black leader for the GOP.

What's next...a taco named for George Bush at your local Taco Belle?
