Well group,

As some of you may know and we have talked about. I had decided to raise my
seat pedestal. In doing so I realized that there was allot of rot. Well
the sawzall came out and I will be posting pictures real soon!!!

I am in search of a wiring diagram for installing radio, speakers.

Before you go crazy I suggest you drill some test holes in the
stringers and transom. If the rot is everywhere then you might
consider patching over your hole and just running it into the ground.
In most cases the work of repairing significant rot is much greater
than the value of the boat. Unless you have a lot of time and do not
include your own labor in the estimated cost.

The radio will come with a wiring diagram.

Transom and the stringers look good. I think I am beyond the "crazy" part.
The radio is a eclipse cd4000 and It was removed from an old pickup. The
wiring in the boat now isn't right. I was able to find a install pdf from
eclipse.

I am allot further along then the pictures indicate. I didn't have a camera
a few days in between. The front bow seats I reupholstered. I was very
pleased how they came out. I had replaced the rotten seat bottoms with
plastic. As I have with the floor as well.

Bow looks good.

It's hard to tell but it looks like the floor plywood was never
glassed over?

When I redid my floor I enlarged the center locker but it looks like
your stringers might be closer to the center unless that is just
plywood on the locker sides. Something to think about anyway. I can
get kneeboards in mine know and they were a pain to store before.

I'll bet Harry will say something negative about it. He has a deep
disdain for anybody with the skills to do things for themselves. Plus,
as I've posted, people with his chronic lying condition often become
defensive.
