It's funny to see the left talking about Palin when Obama is less
qualified than even her. Not to mention so far he has shown no
backbone or ethics... He is really only there because of the guilt of
the left pandering to a black man, and ACORN defrauding tens of
thousands of voters...
------------------------------------------------

I think Obama is a very bright, articulate and charismatic person.
I don't doubt his commitment to his beliefs.

I just don't agree with many of them. I think his ideas regarding
international
relationships are naive and his economic policies are a continued march
towards
a Euro-style socialistic society.

Other than that, he's ok.

I find her ability to hunt, dress and consume an admirable quality.
There's very few people who have the experience and more should,
perhaps the beef industry wouldn't have so many rabid fans of nicely
packaged flesh if they knew what was involved. At least folks might
have a little more respect for where the product came from.

What's infuriating about Palin has absolutely nothing to do with her
ability to hunt, fish, play basketball or produce ill-bred children.

She's intellectually inferior to so many accomplished women who are
better suited to the role to which she aspires. She's there because
of her hubris, good looks and semi-savvy political skills.

If you think Obama may be weak on the world stage, you cannot think
for a moment that this woman could survive, let alone properly
represent America and it's people.

That you argue from her corner is a reflection on you and it's not
good.

Most people on this earth are average intellectually. It's the
intellectually superior that are the odd balls. Sometimes common sense
prevails.

Yes, we've witnessed how well that works over the last 8 years.

Know what? I'd love to have a beer with Obama. He's a human being
who wasn't born with a silver spoon in his mouth. He's a self-made
man who still understand from whence he came.

Your regular guy GW was anything but, except he fooled a whole
buttload of people into thinking he wasn't an elitist.

I'll take intellectual oddballs over idiots any day. Palin is an
idiot.

Obama less qualified. That's hilarious. I'd like to hear a debate
between Obama and Palin. He'd wipe the floor, the walls, the windows
and a couple of urinals with her cake-packed face.

True. And approximately half of the voters would vote for her.

(Don't construe this as being support for Palin for POTUS. I am simply
stating the facts.)

Speaking of Palin's cake-packed face, have you noticed she looks a *lot*
older and less attractive since "losing" the $10,000 a week (or whatever
it cost) makeup artist the GOP supplied during the McCain campaign?

She's a frump.

"sports taught her everything she knows"
This statement explains a lot. Perfect to lead NASCAR dads, soccer moms and
bass fishermen.
"Palin, who rocketed to fame" in a Forrest Gump kind of way.

Harry, here's some reading about chronic lying. It may do you some
good and help you realize your addiction. Take special note about the
part where chronic liars become defensive:

There are many people that just can't stop lying. In order to avoid
the truth this path is chosen. A lie that is said for someone's
benefit is to cheat another. However there are some people that
always
lie, meaning that they are looked upon as liars for everything and
anything that they might say. Anyone who has the habit of lying
continuously is called as compulsive liar. It is a condition where a
person is just unable to speak the truth, even if he tries to put it
in a simple and truthful way there happens to be a point at which he
will be unable to continue with the harsh truths and in order to
avoid
this he will start it all again with lying.

Compulsive lying is also like an addiction just like sex, drugs,
smoking and so on. Just as a person requires help under all these
conditions, the situation is the same even with compulsive lying. Any
person can be a compulsive liar; your daughters, sons, husbands,
wife's, girlfriends, boyfriends etc. Instead of avoiding your
compulsive liar (friend or spouse) you can help them deal with this
disease just like you would do in case of a more evident addiction.

For this you don't have to directly approach them and tell them that
they are lying as this could hurt their feelings or make them
defensive. Instead opt for a way that would help them. Try showing
them that you know about the lies, but try and take it easy by
telling
them that you knew it was meant as a joke. Let the victim realize
that
there is a problem and help them. You can take the victim to
psychiatrist and expect a change in him/her.

I will quote myself as saying that Palin automatically cost the votes
of the top half of the IQ range with the creationism alone. I liked
the moose hunting. Beef is imported and more expensive than, say,
Iowa.
