Yeah, woke up this morning to a broken furnace, errrrr... We got the
first appt by the service rep this morning, pays to have the "gold
plan" for service

Last time mine went, it was the control unit. The local guys wanted $495
for part, plus labor. I found the part online for $85, but could not buy it
without an HVAC license. Luckily I have a brother in law in the electric
business. He got me the part, and I was able to put it in myself. No
problems -- yet. But, that was about five years ago.
