The wife is looking up the numbers for John now, maybe if you and your

John, if you want to find out who the number belongs to give me a

wanted to **** his wife. John never invited you to put his info up,
Harry always said he didn't care if folks knew who he was. You crossed
the line, now you are running scared...

Well I do know that if JohnnyH was mugged in his golfclub shower room,

Anyway I have never heard Harry give anyone permission to splash his

He is trying to justify what he did in his own mind and to others
here... Nuff' said, it's a conscience thing, you wouldn't understand.

I think it hysterical you are complaining about that and you were silent
when the ****bags known as Herring, Reggie, DK and Florida Jim did the
same thing.

You keep saying that, but I don't remember posting your home address.
Do you want to make a little wager?

Don,
Are you willing to make a wager on this one?

Sorry, I'm not a betting man. I don't even buy lottery tickets.
If you have proof....produce it.

Don,
Obviously, you either know you made such a post, or are so senile, you
can't remember that you did.

Either way...put up or shutup!

Don,
That is the first step to acknowledge that you are nasty, irresponsible
and potentially dangerous.

You know, this is getting to be ridiculous.

I've corresponded with, spoken to or met a number of regular posters
here and have found them to be pleasant, articulate, personable and
knowledgable on any number of subjects from esoteric math theory to
practical applications of engineering principles.

When I look at these same personas here, it's a whole different world.
These very same people act like morons and are moving electrons around
at a rate that would make any networking enthusiast envious.

Can't we just stop for a while, take a collective breath and start
over with a little more civility?

It can't be that hard.

Let's see how many can sign on to stop the name-calling and personal
insults, of *anyone* regardless of the behavior of others.

I think that would be a good start, don't you?

An answer would be appreciated.

Again, I find it a bit interesting, and no more than that, that Herring
once more is trying to recruit others to behave as he doesn't. The last
time he did this, he simply rephrased some of his snarky remarks and
then said he wasn't insulting anyone.

Everyone here is responsible for his or her own behavior. Thank goodness
for filters, though, because with them I only get to see a tiny
percentage of the misbehavior of the miscreants.

Basically, Scotty, you are my connection to the "dark side" of
rec.boats. :)

You'll note the last three calls. They were from the same person, but I
think he forgot to turn off the caller ID function. I called back, and the
voice is the same.

I wonder why they recommend you not use your personal name in UseNet?

I don't think using the name is necessarily it. There is a NG where
nearly everyone posts under their own name, and many have been doing
it for more than a decade. Nothing bad has ever happened. The place
has banned religion, politics, crossposting and acronyms.

Really? Try to get moto-cross, golf, camping trips, old ****ty import
trucks, beer making,Grandkid pictures, and ALL the other OFF-TOPIC
bull**** " banned ". It'll NEVER happen here...... If you did make it
happen, there'd only be about three people left posting here...but the
content would be BOATS, not off topic garbage.

Harry has always said his name, address and phone number are not a secret.
Harry also was emphatic that one should not have any problems posting your
full name, along with personal info in rec.boats. If they don't then they
have NO BALLS. Harry stated he wanted me to post my name so someone could
walk up to my door and punch me in my nose. (he is so funny) Since it
is easy to find the address and phone of most people who provide personal
info, and Harry thought anyone who didn't do that had NO BALLS, isn't it
safe to assume he had no problems with his name and address being posted?

Since there are only 3 Don Whites in Halifax, based upon the info you have
provided in rec.boats, it would be very easy to find rec.boats Don White.
