One of the right-wing idiots on a gun discussion board was talking about how some of the old Communist states used to imprison without trial or only a show trial those they believed to be enemies of the state. He stated Obama would be doing the same. So one of the other posters there said we wouldn't have to wait for Obama to send the state's enemies to prison without a trial, because Bush was already doing it. I almost fell out of my chair laughing. It is going to take Obama a long time to bring this country back to an even keel financially, socially, and in the eyes of the world. What you need is a decent news reader ..... like OE or Windows Mail. They work fine. :-) Meanwhile, until this fuss blows over in here, I am hanging out over in one of the Harley groups where the discussions are much more refined, polite, respectful and on-topic. Eisboch I don't think it's Agent. I think it's the server. The same thing happens here occasionally, and because other screwy things happen with Cox, I think this problem is the fault of Cox also. No, Eisboch is correct, it is Agent and virtually every other news client threads correctly. Forte, apparently, has adopted a "quick threading" algorithm that works fast, but poorly. I'm sorry. I keep forgetting you've got the new, upgraded stuff. Any time you want to go back, let me know. I've still got the 1.93 setup file. |

As part of Forte's beta testing group I think I have all of the build since about 0.89. Your 1.93 has the same flawed algorithm as the latest 5.X build... How about 1.91? That's the one I use. |

I remember not liking it for some reason, but can't remember why. Luckily I still had 1.91 on a disk and was able to reinstall it. I've never had a problem with it. |
