Illinois or Louisiana?

Louisiana's borders are quite crooked because of the rivers it has for it's boundries, but Illinois on the other hand has a very long border on the Mississippi, the bottom half of the east border is on the Ohio, and it also borders Lake Michigan. I'll go with Illinois |

Illinois or Louisiana?
Oh, I thought he meant the State Government.
I don't know about La., but my home state is Il. and it was pretty crooked when the first Daly ran it from Chicago, and for a long time before that. I wonder if "getting caught" is all that separates one state from another that way? Neal, you seem to be forgetting Alaska, . It's right up there at the top, and, Republican. I would suggest it isn't about Republican or Democrat. It's about any state that doesn't have a viable two party system to keep the party in power, in check. |

Well, for starters, the Illinois governor now in prison ss a Republican. And Louisiana is governed by a Republican. So maybe it's a matter of perception that's influencing your "facts." -- Ed Huntress |

Has the City of Newark ever had a Mayor complete his term in office, outside of the home for wayward government employees in Rahway? I don't know. The current one, Corey Booker, is a real revolution. He's a friend of Obama and has a similar history --a Rhodes Scholar, and the Bloods have been trying to kill him because he's shut down a lot of the drug trade. He lived in a tent for a while in one of Newark's roughest neighborhoods just to confront the druggies and crooks on a full-time basis. If he isn't killed, he may make it. -- Ed Huntress |
