Good investment??

I'm hoping some of you who are knowledgeable about these matters can give
me some advice. I'm considering a reverse mortgage on my house, and
investing the money in this:

Any advice would be appreciated.

Pfffftttt, I almost **** my pants.. What's next? The Al Capone dollar,
how about the Osama Bin Laden dollar?.. Oh, no, maybe the Al Franken
dollar, he is about to steal the election, ..................or best
of all, the Harry Krause dollar.. it comes plated in genuine fake
gold, and it even has a built in chip so it makes annoying sounds
(sort of like popping a zit) when squeezed...

A reverse mortgage gives you monthly income. Sell the house outright
and invest all the cash. If prices continue to tank you can buy it
back cheaper later on. Better yet, sell a house you don't own, like
the naked short sellers on Wall Street. :-)

I would rather pay $999 for a real fat ounce that does not rub off and
tarnish.

But we do need a gold backed currency. One the governments can't putz with.

If I sell a house I don't own, do I have to sell the barn too?
