He keeps changing nationality depending upon what day it is. Well, Reggie..it is this way... 1. I had more than one grandfather. I know that is a difficult concept for you to understand. 2. One was Russian, the other was German-Polish-Austrian-Hungarian because national borders tended to change a lot, and his little town was in the middle of that sort of stuff. One came here right after the turn of the 19th to 20 Centuries, and was processed through Ellis Island, and the other arrived at the Port of Philadelphia in 1911. I suppose you have to know a little 19th and 20th Century European history to understand the changing borders situation. Obviously, your education in that area is...lacking. |
