As I stated there is nothing illegal about it. As for it being
"anti-American," I don't know what that really means. There are plenty
of events taking place in this country many would consider
anti-American.
Is there an official list?
Of course, the Attorney General's List of Subversive Organizations, but
remember the Fairness Doctrine is important. ;-)
I wonder if Gonzo put himself, Bush, Cheney, and the rest of the Bush
Admin subversives on that list? :?)
The local pub TV station is fundraising and played a feature on Pete
Seeger last night. There was a section on Paul Robeson. Seeger is still
alive at 89, but Robeson is long gone. Both of them are among the most
gifted Americans, and Robeson especially was a genius, accomplish in
academic, law and performing. Both were persecuted and prosecuted by
narrow-minded right-wing Americans, most of whom could barely tie their
shoes without help.
And the dumb right-wing schitters of today are worried about "the
fairness doctrine."
