Obama, for one, is on the record against reinstating it.

I think it's just out there to give the righties a tighter anal opening.
I mean, where would the boys be without reich-wing radio? Out wandering
the wilderness?

More vomit from the jackass of rec.boats.. even you know it's
censorship, only reason you don't care is well, you don't care. So
explain to us how the constitution is a iving breathing document, only
there for your berkenstock buddies...

I'm in favor of almost anything that kicks the mindless righties in the
nuts, and, since I don't listen to reich-wing radio, watch Faux News or
have the hots for Ann Coulter-geist, I won't mind if the truth is
presented after they speak.

Obviously you don't know what freedom is so *you haven't got a clue of
about the subject*.
Say what?
I do have a couple of clues *of about* the Queens English.
Besides, one could argue that over the past 4 years we've had more
freedom
than you. (just ask your border guards)

Turns out the hatchet fell at NPR. My sister, Vicky OHara got axed
and I know she did not expect it. Life is rough but fortunately she
has no kids. I always thought NPR had almost no balance, great
programs but no balance. You could end up more ignorant after
listening than before.

Only if you are a brainwashed rightie whose ability to absorb reality
longer than a 60-second soundbite doesn't exist.

Liberals or a segment there of are not the primary movers on this. It is
just a front.
Politicians on both sides would like talk radio controlled to their
liking just like they are doing with eliminating alt. newsgroups and
attempts to control Bloggers. Remember Trent Lott and others on the
Blogger issue and the Internet.
The 1st Amendmetn has many attackers. They don't do it in their own name
as it woulkd draw fire.
Know our Freedom's enemies.

Who cares? There's nothing illegal about it.

Ain't payback a bitch? OF course, the fairness doctrine doesn't call for
censorship of any kind, so if it were reinstated, the loony righties
could go on spewing their hate speech just as they are now.

What are you afraid of........?

Censorship... you wouldn't understand. Your govt won't let you watch
the frekin' Simpsons and you sit back and take it..

************************************************** ************

Can't blame them for trying to filter all that 'merican crap that flows
across the border

I can tell you haven't seen the show!

Used to be a big fan when the boys were young. We'd be laughing out loud at
the antics, but the wife just couldn't see what was so funny.

Your wife's got some sense. For many folks down here, the closest they get
to the news is the Simpson's. That's how Obama got elected.

It's good that it annoys people like you and JustHate. It's not going
anywhere, but it does cause anguish on the right because of the fear the
right-wing hatemongers might be forced to act more responsibly.

I am going to enjoy watching the next four to eight years of apoplexy on
the right. Rush will be back on hard drugs and probably OD and die,
hopefully right on the air. I haven't been watching the Supremes
closely...are any of the right-wingers on the high court close to death?
