If it's an appointment it's an appointment. Look what's going on with Hillary's seat. Deals are being cut. Blago's mistake was getting taped cussing. Made Honest Abe roll over in his grave, according to Fitz. He had no business saying that, so he weakened his case. A fed prosecutor or AG can, as they say, "indict a ham sandwich." They'll get Blago on something. Maybe running on somebody's restricted grass while jogging. But unless he got personal cash or property he's just another politician. Anybody see that Fox news bit on Hastert's land jumping in value because of that pork highway project he pushed through? Talk about a crook. If you ever have to get a scam redressed, go to your state AG. My ma got taken by a chimney shaker some years ago, and me and my BIL and a couple buddies were almost on the way to the guy's offices with baseball bats, when my sis got on the phone with the AG. My ma had her money back that week, and our bats never got scratched. Rule of law, man, rule of law. These AG's and Fed prosecutors are often the biggest goody 2-shoes on earth. Like bulldogs with the law. Good for them. Then you got your Spitzers. --Vic |
