Yeah, I think it's a non-starter as far as Obama is concerned. The way
they refer to President-elect-Adviser, I suspect they are more likely to
be a witness, than a defendant.

That would seem to be a point in Obama's favor.

And, this is really going to be good, Emmanual is smack dab in the
middle of the whole thing and is the contact between Obama and
whats-his-face. Obama has already thrown Axelrod under the bus - it's
only a matter of time before he throws Emmanual under the bus - it seems
to be his modus operandi.

Am I missing something, Axelrod thrown under the bus? You are
overlooking something, the Obama team didn't play ball. More than that,
we don't know that they didn't report the corrupt SOB.

Frankly, the open way Blagojevich was doing this, I'm suspecting he is
nuts. I've heard a few people thinking bi-polar.

With the nascent war brewing between Clinton and Rice plus the whole
Gietner thing (which by the way I think is unfair to him - he did what
he could), The Lightworker is going to be very busy.

Tempest in a teapot. Rice wants her own transition team at the State
Department, so what? It makes good sense to me, the quicker they get up
an running the better. They have eight years to make up for. ;-)

The best part is that he hasn't even started in office yet. :)

Fitz said something a bit stronger than your misquote.

Considerably stronger. However, if you read the complaint, it appears,
at least to me, that there was contact with at least "[President-elect
Advisor]". IIRC, when they are referred to as Fundraiser A, or
Individual D, they are potential defendants. President-elect-Adviser
didn't have a letter after it, meaning they are probably clean. There is
a Senate Candidate 5 that seemed to be willing to play for pay.

The timing is somewhat interesting. I've read that, originally,
Fitzgerald wasn't going to indict Blagovich until spring, after Obama
considered his reappointment. The "seat selling" forced his hand.

Actually, that was the thinking, but...

Obama pressed the Illinois Senate to override the Governor's veto on
ethics legislation - which they did.

Thus, whats-his-face had to do all his money grubbing before the
Ethics Bill became law on January 1st, 2009.

When this "pay-for-play" thing came up, he had what he needed to move
forward.

And, this is really going to be good, Emmanual is smack dab in the
middle of the whole thing and is the contact between Obama and

Well, if there is a serious criminal investigation, there's nothing
unusual about a prosecutor calling witnesses, and there's no reason to
cast aspersions on those witnesses, since, without them, the prosecutor
is pretty much dead in the water in many cases.

Not at all. That's why I emphasized "bit." But it certainly is normal
for a quid pro quo in connection with a political appointment. Most of
them are not in the forms Blago wanted, but I assure you, if you get a
political appointment, someday, and that day may never come, you may be
asked to perform a service.

A right-wing blog with two penis extender ads on the opening page?
Some cred.

Harry,
I hate to tell you this, but those ads are based upon the cookies on your
computer. My ads were for HDTV and IMG Direct. The PJMedia directs ads
based upon the other web sites and internet searches you do.

I wonder if anyone else got penis extender ads.

I refreshed my page to see what else I got it was:
Hertz
Amazon
Poliwood.

No sex ads what so ever.

Those ad trackers are amazing. I thought the whole world was suddenly
fascinated with musical keyboards, arrangers and workstations.

I just clicked on it again; the only ads I saw were fundraisers via
amazon for the site.

Some people like advertisements. Why, I don't know, but if you want to
kill nearly all of them, you can run through a proxy. I use Privoxy. It
will also work on Windows.

They rotate. Look it up.

I did, I clicked on it over 10 times, and I showed you the ads I saw.
Nothing that came close to be a sex ad. They showed you penis extender
ads based upon your internet history gathered via cookies and ad
trackers. Yesterday I was looking at HDTV to buy my mom for Christmas,
hence the ad for the HDTV. I also reserved a rental car with
Budget a few days ago, hence the ad for Hertz. Very few people who
visit that site, ever see ads for penis extenders. You are one of the
lucky ones.

I am just trying to be helpful. You wife may know about ad trackers and
wonder why she keeps getting sex ads every time she logs onto your computer.

Most of the sites I visit aren't drowning in ads. It was no surprise to
me that a right-wing blogsite was advertising penis extensions.

For someone who spends as much time on the internet as you do you really
are naive.

It is hard to believe but this is the first link when I did a Google on
"ad trackers":

"All too often adverts you see online are your past come back to haunt
you. Advertisers use tracking cookies to capture the web history of
users and monitor usage of a particular site. That information is used
to serve up adverts most likely to influence you."

http://www.newscientist.com/blog/tec...-trackers.html

The fact that you saw a penis extender was not a reflection of the
quality of the blog Tom linked.

It was a reflection of your internet usage and ad tracker cookies.

It's interesting how you take a snippet of "maybe" and turn it into
something universally true and cast in stone. I'm aware of "tracking"
cookies. I dump all but a few of them off my desktop every other day. I
doubt my book purchases on Amazon or my photo gear purchases here and
there gave the result you believe.

I will admit, though, that today, for the first time in my memory, you
provided a bit of useful info on that wireless shutter.

Otherwise, though, I couldn't attest that you know schitt.

Had the same thing happen to me with golf clubs, balls, clothing, and

I've never had a 'penis extender' ad show up, but maybe some folks just
leave their web cams on all the time. Who knows?

Punk The Obama? He has punked himself. Axelrod said he was
talking to Balgojevich about his replacement on TV a couple of
weeks ago and The Obama said that he hadn't talked to
Blagojevich. Hence the question who is the liar? You are the
expert on that subject aren't you?

The Obama is out of his league, playing politics, on the
national stage is going to be his undoing.

Why don't you enroll in Montgomery Community College and take a
civics course? If there is any sort of intellectual
underpinning to a conversation, *you* are out of your league.
It would do you a lot more good than playing golf with the
idiot known as Herring.

What's the matter Harry the cloud of corruption has appeared
above The Obama's head just prior to him taking office and will
stay with him during his entire 4 years in office, if he lasts
that long. The lingering question will be what did he know and
when did he know it. And, when will David Axlerod fall on his
sword?

Nyuk, nyuk, nyuk. The cloud is in the mind of the right-wing
trash...like you.

I see you haven't awoken from your wet dream of the night of
November 4th yet.

Fitzgerald stated that "the president elect" was not named in the
indictment. What Fitzgerald didn't say is that "the president
elect" wasn't a figure in the investigation.

Fitz said something a bit stronger than your misquote.

Feel free to quote Fitz.

I notice you didn't take issue with my statements regarding Axelrod.
I think his career in public is finished.

D'uh. Because I don't "engage" you or the other right-wing turds on a
particular subjects only means that I didn't engage you. It doesn't
mean I agree with you. You should have gone to college and learned
how to think mo' betta'.

You are a cherry picker. You pick and choose the items that suite your
issue of the day. If the item contradicts your issue then you ignore it.

BTW, where is you outrage at Gov. Blagojevich's attempt at government
censorship of the free press? I notice that you have conveniently
ignored this issue altogether.

Actually, I tend to ignore those issues you and the other righties bring
up that I classify as nonsense. I certainly do pick and chose the topics
that interest me, though. I don't hesitate to comment on posts that
contradict my positions if the subject interests me and the post in
question isn't your sort of nonsense.

If you are referring to Blago's attempts to purge the editorial board of
the Trib, I believe it was more personal than governmental.

Sadly, the Trib has fallen into the hands of a corporate raider. Which
has nothing to do with Blago.

We all have you pegged.
