Not to worry. President-elect Obama will simply declare that the Monroe
Doctrine is heretofore null and void.

Problem solved.

Bush thinks it is. He lets the PRC play in Central and South America.

Doesn't much matter now what Bush thinks, does it?

Precedent. The PRC is all over South America. No incoming U.S. president
would be able to kick them out. Besides, we're not going to play
brinkmanship with our largest creditor. Your dumb boy Bush emasculated
this country.

You're getting an early start on your excuses, Harry.

We can all be hopeful that our new leader has the initiative and the
balls to do what is right. I don't really think he's paying much
attention to you just yet. He has been dropping hints that he wants a
Blackberry for Christmas. He said that would give him the opportunity to
listen to America. Imagine! Harry and Barry texting each other.
A Happy Thanksgiving and a wonderful holiday season, sans Christmas, to
you.

The Monroe Doctrine was declared dead when the Bay of Pigs invasion
failed. By me, anyway.

Now, according to NPR this morning, (Yes Harry, I DO listen to NPR
occasionally) it looks like Chavez is buying up billions of dollars
worth of arms from the Ruskies. he says that the russians can use
Venezuala as a "training" ground.

And the plot thickens......

Nothing to worry about. According to the liberal agenda, everyone is good
at heart and means us no harm. All we need to do is sit at the negotiating
table and give them stuff. Whatever they want.

Or, let them send millions of people here to send millions of our dollars
there.
