repercussions from your personal information being posted on the

And why could you not forward it to Jim?

I qualified for a Vietnam bonus that I never applied for.
(Harry would love to know why I didn't)

I wonder if I could still apply and get it, plus interest.
Nah.

Have you ever thought about when Harry went to Viet Nam? He stated he
graduated from college, then went to work for Kansas City newspaper,
then went to Yale, then worked as a Union organizer in Chicago. I guess
he must have done Viet Nam after high school before college. Army
Generals prefer to hire kids just out of high school.

Was that your experience? I wasn't hired by an Army general.

It's so nice being the object of affection of so many right-wing pieces
of ****. Like you.

Harry, although I'm not a right-wing piece of ****, 'cause I'm independent
as Chuck, I'd feel it safe to say that most of the right-wing pieces of
**** *do* see you as an object of affection!

Why would you think otherwise?

down and maybe 15 minutes, guy said not really needed, and told me how
much money you working stiffs were going to send me each month.

Thanks. I am still a few years away from SS, but I'll save and remember
your link.
Apparently, there are many little known and often unused benefits
available for vets and/or surviving spouses. My sister, as a result of a
lot of digging, found an obscure benefit that now provides an extra $1k a
month in addition to her SS to help pay for assisted living costs.

Well, I didn't qualify for this one.

Being retired, did you keep your VA medical?

I have 20% disability because of war related injuries and I'm entitled
to VA care, but I've never used the VA medical system because I
haven't needed to. I still don't because we have a private policy for
me and Mrs. Wave is covered by her employer.

Absolutely! That's where I get these free $2000 hearing aids!

Get thee to thy nearest VA office and get yourself a VA ID card. Take your
proof of injury and make sure the card says "SERVICE CONNECTED" on the
front. You'll be given a physical for your first appointment. I don't use
them for anything but hearing, because like you, I'm on my wife's
insurance.

Yeah - I already have the ID card - I just don't use it. I get a
letter every once in a while asking if I'm still alive, but other than
that, nothing.

Did you apply for CSRS yet? Are you getting any VA benefits?

Not a one - I don't even get the 20% disability payment - never
applied for it. When I was discharged, I was given an interview, this
that and the other thing (I can't remember exactly), they did the
whole review thingy, I got the ID card and that was that. I think the
last time I heard from them, it was to get a new card which I got at
the Newington VA hospital - no, that's not right - I got it at the VA
hospital in West Haven.

Can't see taking something I don't need.

Well, if you've nothing to do with the money but let Obama spend it, leave
it there. I could always find something to do with it, even if it's
donating it to a church to pay someone's electricity bill. That's about all
it would be anyway.

I'll giggle a little when that buffer is dumped.

I'm sure you will. Merry Christmas. Speaking of Christmas, I just got
done stringing my outdoor lights. This year I tossed all the incands. and
bought all Led Lighting. Uses 1/6 the electricity. Plus the lamps are
supposed to last much longer. Traditionally I turn them on on
Thanksgiving night. How about you? Have you started putting up your
Christmas decorations yet?

Since I am not Christian, why would I be putting up Christmas decorations?

Why are you celebrating Christmas? You certainly are no follower of the
teachings of Jesus.

Oh, boy. Here we go. Again.

My threatening email? I didn't threaten you. I gave you a heads up on
an "anonymous" email I received, and I included my sig info so you
would know I was not trying to spoof you. The fact that you reposted
the info says chapters about you.

You're fortunate I won't do what you did. I could. But I won't. But
someone else will, I'm pretty sure, when it suits them. And
apparently they have a lot of information on you. You must have
really offended someone.

I'll giggle a little when that buffer is dumped.

QUESTION 1
Oh I don't know. Maybe I was thinking someone living at your house might
be Christian.
QUESTION 2 Pure speculation.

FOLLOW UP QUESTION
What religion would condone your behavior and lack of ethics and morals?

Yeah, maybe more Jesus on a stick? What he doesn't know, he just
guesses.. Just for the record Harry, you don't have to follow the
teachings, or even be a good person to be a Christian.. You just have
to believe...

Well, that sure makes it easy for mass murderers and Republicans.
