30 out of 32, but I have several objections to two of the questions.

In particular the one about the First Admendment (due process is a
protection of the First Admendment and found so by the Supreme
Court) and the item about taxation. Both of their correct answers
are not wrong, but they have a secondary correct answer also.

That was cool.

I did ok, surprisingly.

ou answered 27 out of 33 correctly - 81.82 %
Two of them were completely bogus - two correct answers in the same
question. The one about the First Admendment (correct answer includes
due process) and the taxation question which is totally FUBAR - taxes
equals government spending also means zero debt and growth.

30 out of thirty two and IN FACT, I nailed it.

How do you know I'm not?

I'm guessing you don't make more than $5 million a year.

So, does that mean that in the new, revised Obama plan he gets a tax break?

Yeah - what happened to the $250K thing? Or the immediate repeal of
the "Bush" tax plan?

Enquiring minds want to know. :)

Our local high school for several years won or placed high in the national
civics Contest. Skip Mohatt was the teacher. Was an amazing run for a
public school vs. private school.
http://bulk.resource.org/gpo.gov/rec...996_E00672.pdf
Unfortunately he passed away this weekend from pneumonia as a complication
from a fall. He had Polio as a child and probably added an extra factor.
He was a giant among teachers. A reason to pay the good ones more, merit
pay. He inspired the kids. One of them has gotten a masters in
international business and foreign relations and works for the State
Department. A kid who might have just gone along working the ramp crew
for
an airline. What he did to pay for college.

Can't have good teachers get recognized. Then the bad teachers will look
worse. Any extra money for merit pay should go to union leaders. They
could
then put it in their pockets like they do in Washington, DC.

It's the morning after an evening of partying and imbibing. He's now
starting to realize all the stupid things he said the night before.

Seriously, Obama, like McCain, was handed an 11th hour campaign surprise,
starting on or about Sept. 15th.
It probably cost McCain the election and is now causing Obama, along with
his advisors to have to rethink the whole plan and promises he made.
