There's nothing in Canada - except Canadians and we all know about
them. :)

Hey, I found something the other day for the boat - I'll send it along
to you in the next week or so.

It's a surprize.

I'll look forward to it.
Was it small enough for regular post... or a big package via courier?

Blame Canada - that's what I do. :)

The space tool bag that floated away?

Made in Canada.

Somehow figures doesn't it? Million dollar handbag and some woman
manages to lose it.

Women - can't drive/can't handle tools. Now if it had been her
cosmetic bag, you can bet 'she wouldn't have lost it.

I agree with this post.

Very funny, BTW...

Would you kindly cross the border, grab your Canadian cold front and
return it to Canada where it belongs?
Thanks - I'd appreciate it.
To us, all the cold crappy weather comes from the US.
If you've ever watched the 'jet stream' on the weather channel, you'll
notice it loups down south from the prairies, cools you off and then comes
back up right over or just a bit to the side of us.
http://www.weatheroffice.gc.ca/jet_stream/index_e.html

So I say to you......keep the cold front in New England...we don't want it.

Sorry but they don't call it an "artic cold mass" because it came from
the lower 48.

He's a Canadian. Probably thinks all the cold weather comes from
Florida or something.

Besides - it's always Canada's fault.

Blame Canada - that's what I do. :)

Our local weather guesser talks about the Alberta Clipper bringing us
cold weather. My map of North America shows that Alberta is part of
Canada, the source of all cold.

Reminds me of the trip I took to Kanata, ON about 15 years ago in the
beginning of January. They told me to make sure I bring gloves and wear
them when outside. It was -30*C and below and your skin would freeze to
the door handles.

Yep. When we were fur trapping up there our words would freeze as we
spoke them. Had to talk where our words would drop into a frying pan
to hear what we were saying. Still about a 5 second delay before the
words would thaw. Lots of misunderstandings, as you'd expect.
What a motley crew that was.
Oh Oh. I said motley crew. Guitar time?

Farts might freeze in those temps. Be little blue balls on the ground and
when you brought them inside, they would warm up and go toot.

As to cold, I can not imagine that much cold. Coldest I ever suffered
through was -12f in the parking lot of Heavenly Valley Ski area. My brother
tells of -50f during summer storms and they could not move the snowcats as
the tracks would break, and that was in the summer. He was stationed at
Little America in the Antarctic for 3 summers. He said they are not really
sure how cold it has gotten in the winter as the thermometer at the Russian
base froze solid at -125f.

Should have kept your fly zipped.

The winter I visited Thunder Bay, Ontario, it was about that that cold
when we stepped off the airplane. I couldn't believe it. Went ice
fishing the next day. Couldn't believe that, either. It was the place I
saw "professional" roof sweepers, guys hired by homeowners' insurance
companies to sweep the snow off the roofs of policyholder houses.

C-O-L-D.
