![]() Not exactly the same thing, but Les Paul (of guitar fame) invented the concept of "sound on sound" and "sound with sound" recording. He added heads to reel to reel tape decks and perfected the technique. He really started it all. Most people only think of Les as a guitar player, of which he was a giant, of course. But few know of his profound love of and his innovations in recording technology. Quite a guy. |
