My boat had reading/spot lights with regular incandescent bulbs. They were
junk and used a lot of power. Costco has some outdoor led spots. They have 4 leds in each one.Package of 4 lights, solar panel and rechargeable batteries for $50. So what would it take to retrofit for 12 volt operation without blowing them when the alternator kicks in. I want them paralleled so I can switch on and off individually. Would these even be acceptable for reading lights? Would I want to make diffuser covers to scatter the light? Thanks Gordon |
