Garmin GPS 128 Interface to Autohelm 3000

Looking for advice / suggestion / experience on interfacing a Garmi n
128 GPS to an Autohelm 3000 autopilot.

Is it do-able, and what do I need? Are cable interfaces ommercially
available?
