Default old bronze thru hull transducer

It has stamped on the inside, WT-20A
the boat was made in 1970, it must be newer than that.
Does anyone know anything about this transducer?
It has the typical arrow shape design != and long threaded shaft.
the wire plug where it would have attached to a depth sounder uses a small
screw on type connector with a simple center connector and ground shield
cable..
I was wondering if this is useful anymore for a depth sounder.
