Default [ANN] NMEA data over IP networks, freeware program

If it's a DNS prob,

http://216.76.94.234/3NMEA.shtml

should work.

500 errors are usually (but not always) a cgi script problem on the
page. However, I just checked the logs and I don't see any 500 errors
at all. This would seem to indicate that you never got to the server,
so you may be correct. I gather you're still having problems?

Might have been a broken link to it. My browser simply couldn't find
you DNS lookup or the link to the IP was broken......

I'm puzzled; I've had several people go to the page with no problems
and I haven't touched it in months. I use a trivial java script on
the page to generate my email link; it fools the spammers' address
harvesters. I'm removing it now to see if that helps. I've used it
forever with no problems, but it's the obvious thing to try.

Got server troubles?

Error 500

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from
fulfilling the request.

Couldn't connect to server 'www.worldwidewiley.com' (port 80) !
Either the server is down or your network is not properly configured.
Maybe you have to use a proxy to connect to the internet. Perhaps your
modem is switched off / your network card disconnected or the address
wasn't entered correctly. Please check if the URL is correct.

If the problem persists you should contact your network administrator.

Copied and pasted from your message.....

I've written a program that does that and much more. I'm looking for
a beta tester or two. If you're interested, take a look at

Some the pages require Internet Explorer. There is a link to send me
an email if anything grabs your interest. It will definitely be free
to beta testers. I haven't yet evaluated whether there is enough
demand to warrant marketing the program as shareware. I'd be
interested in feedback on that issue as well.

Too bad it won't buffer several input ports so we can use it as a
multiplexer. Thanks for the program....
