My friend has a leak in his remote oil filter hoses below the motors in

his
3270 Bayliner. Any recommendations for repair? He is considering
disconnecting the driveshaft(s) and jacking the motor up for access.

Is
there any experience out there or suggestions?

Just reach down below the motor to where the oil filer is normally and undo
the lines, or unbolt the adapter plate and pull it up and remove the bad
line. Buy a new line and reinstall.

Try to be really sure _where_ the oil is coming from before you take
anything off. Might not be that hose - could be lots of things above
that will drip/run down onto it. Much harder to figure out after you've
taken things apart. Could just be the screw fitting is loose or something.
