Finished Great Loop Trip

Hello All,

I have never written on this group. We finished our loop and just
wanted to say thank you to all of the wonderful people that we have
met along the way. The most wonderful part of going on this trip has
been meeting you all and becoming friends with a great many of you.

I want to thank you.

Congratulations on your "loop", and you make a good point. We have
found that regardless of the interesting places we cruise to, the most
memorable experiences tend to be the people we meet along the way.
I don't think we've ever regretted striking up a conversation with
someone docked or anchored near us.

My wife and I also completed a Great Loop cruise earlier this year. It
is amazing how beautiful and how varied are the areas along the way.
We made a lot of lasting friends in towns we stopped over in, and
among our fellow cruisers. It wasn't the 'battling gales to round Cape
Horn' type of adventure, but it was certainly worth doing.
