Boat Choices for "fast" trawler?
OPEC just announced a production cut, the US$ is dropping like a rock
and diesel prices are expected to approach $2/gallon by summer. Are you sure you want to push 8 ot 10 tons through the water at more than hull speed? I like the 32+2, but would like to know what other type boats would fit into this catagory. The Albin cruises around 18 Knots. -- Glenn Ashmore I'm building a 45' cutter in strip/composite. This is why I've mentioned a Power Cat. The PDQ only burns about 3 GPH at
around 14 knots, depending on a lot of variables, of course. And it provides a much more comfortable ride. The PDQ site provides delivery logs for several configurations.
