Teak deck
Here are some comments:
Consider investigating the teak deck shop at Moody Yachts in the UK (if for no other reason than the information if distance is an issue...and check their website) There are as many opinions on maitaining the teach deck as there are captains...just ask around a marina. I have heard everything from toilet bowl cleaner to cascade dishwasher detergent. But I agree, gentle is the watchword. And, I agree, clean salt water is important. Great footing and look. Quite resiliant. Some issues with caulking, even in the no (fewer) fastenings type. Main concern in adding a teak deck to a boat is the weight distribution change. Hope this helps Howard Aaron wrote in message . 3.44... Scrubbing w/ a brush a water is adaquate to bring back the healthy pink glow of untreated teak.
