Why do cruisers, or any of the rest of us, have to "manage their doctors
visits" at all? What profitable diseases do doctors prevent, at their own
expense?

Can we afford to find a cure for cancer? Of course not....no more than for
any other real or contrived (HIV) diseases.

The only docs educated "at public expense" AFAIK is in the military,
and they fulfill a very rigorous set of obligations to pay it back.

Most MDs I am aware of enter practice with anywhere from $150K to
$500K of debt (very very very few with less, many with more).... often
to the gov't... also often to medical education foundations.

If you got a serious hate-on against doctors, that's a very simple
problem to solve. Don't ever go to one.
