When last I checked, Wilbur was putting forth a story that Captain Skip was
attached to the yard arm, a bottle of
Jim Beam in one hand, a book titled "my life sucks" in the other.

This was followed up with Captain Roger's admission that he doesn't own a
boat, never has, and lives in Utah.

Larry reminded us that our lives are worthless exercises in futility since
we live in a cold climate.

Wayne is heading south, Bruce is in Bangkok, windvanes are broken, GPS isnt'
working, and

Thomas of Cannondale has changed his posting name more times than NE Sailor
...

OOoopss, I am NE Sailor .. nevermind..

So,, rather than go on and on ..

What is the preferred Condom of the cruising couple?

ps; Skip, being depressed in the Bahama's is much easier than living in
Vermont.

Took me a couple of reads to "get" it, but from what I've observed of
VT in the winter, it's SO true... (There's a creek near Hartland named
after one of my ancestors).

BTW, the recent mail from Skip and Lydia sounds much better.

Correction, Wayne is not heading south, we are south, actually headed
north a bit, up the west coast of warm sunny Florida after passing
through the Keys yesteday, and presently anchored at Marco Island. I
had almost forgotten just how great the weather is this time of year.
Unfortunately the satellite TV system is working a little too well and
we are still getting weather reports from New York City.

We'll be home again tomorrow and looking forward to boating with the
neighbors that we haven't seen for 6 months, and spending some quality
time around the pool.

Isn't winterization great?

That said, it would be my preference to not make light of the problems
of others. I've met Skip and Lydia a couple of times, they're nice
folks, and I sincerely hope that they will be able to overcome the
issues that they are facing and get on with their dream.

I disagree.

I do hope Skippy gets counseling and it would probably be best if Sylvia
divorced his sorry arse but I certainly don't wish they would "get on with
their dream." How can an onerous account of a comedic sham and a misguided,
inept circus be rightly called a dream. Maybe a nightmare but not a dream. A
dream connotes something positive and grand and wondrous. None of these
things describe the abortion that is the log of Flying Pig.

When will Skippy ever get real? When will he succeed? When will he become
a competent cruising sailor? When pigs fly!

Probably much sooner then Wilbur, the non sailing sage, Hubbard, hero
of RBC. When are you going to tell us a cruising story about one of
your trips Hubie?

Just to put things in prospective, Tristan Jones sailed a boat named
Sea Dart for some years; over most of the Atlantic Ocean, passages
from South America to England, from England to the U.S, through the
Med, etc.

Sea Dart was 21 feet long.

You, on the other hand own a, what is it? 25 Foot boat so the only
thing that prevents you from following the lead of a real sailor is
either lack of experience or tiny little testicles.

Seems like, more often than not, when you respond to one of my posts you
bring up something concerning my genitalia. Are you gay? There is something
about the name "Bruce" that sounds gay. Maybe it's because lots of guys
named "Bruce" ARE gay. And, when you combine Bruce and Bangkok (bang
cock???), it is even more revealing as to your real agenda. But, don't waste
any more of your time. I'm not gay so I'm not interested in your advances.
Please stop.

like it there...will be spending another few months this winter/spring
working on my boat in the Ft. Myers area before heading over to the Bahamas
(being towed by Dad's GB in order con conserve fuel of course :-) ).
