I'm no expert, but if FL is the same as CA, you must take delivery offshore and proceed directly to out of the country. If you take delivery in CA, then leave you owe the sales tax. Where delivery is taken makes all the difference. I'm not trying to throw a wrench in the works, just saying to make sure you understand the rules FL goes by.
