Default Waxing Question

Steve,
I use Aurora Sure Step, a paste wax made for non skid. Claims to even give
more traction when wet. Don't know about that, but it doesn't seem to be any
more slippery than no wax, and it looks good.
If your non skid is very aggressive, it may be hard to "buff", but mine is
not aggressive.
Seems I've seen another liquid treatment, maybe Starbrite?

Is there a way to protect rough, non-skid areas of fiberglass decks from
oxidation and UV? I'm assuming that these areas can't be waxed in the

same
way that smooth fiberglass/gelcoat can, or am I wrong?

Thanks for any responses,

Steve H.
