Tomorrow we are going to Bohemia River. Any recommendations there? As far as I know, there's still nothing on the Bo. They've been talking about building one for decades. I'm out of date with any of the restaurants on the Sass, as I the Kitty Knight House seemed empty and for sale when we went past last week --we got married there 2-3 owners back-- and it's been so long since we were in the place across the river that I forget the name of it. A few other-marina sources say that the new chef at Tolchester is pretty good. I enjoyed the one meal I had there. (We usually leave the dock a half hour after hitting the parking lot.) As I think about it, we eat out so often, we'd would be poor restaurant guides. ("Out" on the hook, of course. ;-) About the only place we've eaten this season is Woodies in North East, which we recommend. The "waterman specials" I had were fantastic and the crabs were some of the best we've had in years. -- Jere Lull Tanzer 28 #4 out of Tolchester, MD Xan's new pages: http://web.mac.com/jerelull/iWeb/Xan/ Our BVI pages: http://homepage.mac.com/jerelull/BVI/ |

Our wedding-day breakfast was there, and I have no reason to expect less than fantastic offerings from them since. My abject apologies for not remembering the Granary's name. -- Jere Lull Tanzer 28 #4 out of Tolchester, MD Xan's new pages: http://web.mac.com/jerelull/iWeb/Xan/ Our BVI pages: http://homepage.mac.com/jerelull/BVI/ |

My abject apologies for not remembering the Granary's name. No problem, several local folks in Chesapeake City recommended it. We ended up staying a second day and taking the dinghy all the way east to the end of the river - very scenic. |
