Default July 4th cruise plans along the coast of southern Maine?

com·pound2 (k¼m"pound") n. 1. A building or buildings, especially a
residence or group of residences, set off and enclosed by a barrier.

In the case of Walker Point in Kennebunkport, I would say compound is a good
description.

It is out on the end of a rock island like land area. And there are
multiple buildings, I think.

Why on earth Bush the President would invite Putin to visit him at
Kennebunkport is kinda strange.

All I know is that this will really screw up the whole place at a very busy
time of year.

At one time, Kennebunkport was a very friendly sailors port. Not anymore.
The money crowd has taken over.

WASHINGTON (AP) - With U.S.-Russian relations under heavy strain,
President Bush and President Vladimir Putin will meet July 1 and 2 in
Kennebunkport, Maine, administration officials said Wednesday.
Bush's father, former President George H.W. Bush, has an oceanfront
compound in Kennebunkport.

What's with this "compound" ****. Whatever happened to saying somebody has
oceanfront property?
